Increasingly, we are getting notice from our users of various forms of email phishing scams delivered to them via email. The email messages are not all exactly the same, but will have a message similar to the one below (message truncated):

Dear Account User,

This message is from netcommander.com Internet SM® message center to all
netcommander.com account owners. We are currently upgrading our data base
and e-mail account center. We are deleting all unused netcommander.com account
to create more space for new accounts. You are advice to verify and
confirm your account details below to enable us upgrade our
netcommander.come-mail account Internet Service e.g. netcommander.com E-mail, Password,and
Address etc.

Customer Service Warning!!! Account owner that refuses to update his or
netcommander.com account before five days of receiving this warning will
lose his or her account permanently.

Communicomm will NEVER ask you for personal or password information via e-mail. If you receive a message similar to the one above, please DO NOT respond to it. We are working in concert with several Internet providers and law enforcement to curb or eliminate these types of phishing attacks, however the best protection against them is to ensure the information they are looking for is not provided.
